What a busy, busy bee I have been!
I am sorry for my lapse in posting it has all been terribly hectic here Down the Lane, lots of visitors, much entertaining and an overload of work sprinkled on top!
How the devil are you?
I have popped a little taster of my exploits below, so much to tell you about........
The Decorative Living Fair
Scotney Castle
Perch Hill
Pashley Manor
I shall be loading acres of photos ( for a change, tee hee!)
Back soon,
in the meantime I shall leave you with my current favourite
SPRING
Spring, the sweet Spring, is the year's pleasant king;
Then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,
Cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing,
Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
The palm and may make country houses gay,
Lambs frisk and play, the shepherds pipe all day,
And we hear ay birds tune this merry lay,
Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
The fields breathe sweet, the daisies kiss our feet,
Young lovers meet, old wives a-sunning sit,
In every street these tunes our ears do greet,
Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
Spring! the sweet Spring!

Hey there , Check your post again , the color of your type is your background color at the top. You may want to change it , as it is very difficult to read, thanks much ! Gina
