Eastery

Happy Easter!Wow, where has the time gone?
I have been busy busy organising end of year accounts and other such dull enterprises, which has the same effect on me! That is to say makes me feel dull and grey!
So am very happy to wake up to Easter, hooray!

perfect excuse to celebrate all things bunny rabbit related and spend a few happy hours bringing spring inside courtesy of pussy willow, spring flowers, moss and anything else pretty that catches my eye.

I love this cake all drenched in icing sugar and that cake stand!

Next up is to boil some eggs for breakfast and make the table look pretty....
I am also holding my breath in anticipation of a certain Doctor's re-appearance this weekend

I am quite taken by Matt Smith!

And as it is British Summertime at last I expect I shall be getting quite a lot of wear out of these!

Happy Easter
xXx

  8. Thankyou for this little peep into Easter world - it is a very lovely place Sarah. I finally saw Bright Star. Oh the textiles, the exquisite crochet cardigans, the heartbreak. I was emotionally exhausted afterwards but my eyes had had a feast.

  9. Being on a no fat diet rules out chocolate for me this year, so I am going to think of other ways to enjoy the bank holiday. The pictures you posted all sum up the spirit of spring-including the wellies!
Hope Dr Who lives up to expectations!

  10. Yes- my wellies are next to my back door- only they are the usual boring green hunters- not fabulous girly delights! I'm sure I'll be wearing them a lot over the days to come. Wouldn't it be nice if Easter was warm and sunny like all the pictures in the magazines?Have a lovely Easter, whatever the weather!

  11. I will miss David Tennant! This Dr who looks too young!Although, when Christopher Eccleston was Dr Who I thought I wouldn't get used to a new doctor after that!
    Love your Easter images
    Happy Easter!

  12. Beautiful Easter photos Sarah, no break for me this Easter though, only free on Sunday.
As far as DW is concerned it is going to be a hard task for anyone to follow DT but at least Matt SMITH has a great surname so that is a good start, just hope I am home in time to watch it.

  18. Such beautiful, springy images. We keep going back and forth from snow to sun, so everything is very muddy around here, wellies are definitely called for. Have a wonderful Easter!

  24. Happy Easter to you too!

Hopefully the sun is shining for you this weekend and I am totally with you about bringing the Spring indoors at the moment.

Loved your wellies picture - as I scrolled down I thought you were going to show some springy flip flops but smiled widely when I saw the boots. I just added "I will be wearing ...my wellies" to my April on my blog too!

  27. I was fully prepared to despise this Doctor (I was heartbroken to have to say good-bye to David Tennant who was perfection!)... but I must admit, I actually thought Matt Smith was great. The first episode was fantastic and I am quite excited to watch this series.

    Happy Easter!
