Roll up, roll up
Get your snow fix here
For your delectation and delight I bring you "Waking up to snow, Down the Lane"
Light Levels were too low really so forgive the wobby nature of these pics but I just had to get out there! Buster Boodle started barking at the snow at 5.50am!
Look at the ridiculous amount deposited on one of our garden benches!
Our rather sad barren winter garden has taken on a magical Narnian quality
Beloved crab apple tree looks more Christmassy than ever
Beloved crab apple tree looks more Christmassy than ever

ReplyDeleteoh wonderful!
ReplyDeleteso jealous!
It all arrived a week to early didn't it, how magical it would have been to have woken up next friday to your first heavy snow of the winter on Christmas day morning!
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful and I am very jealous, just a sprinkling here so far.
How ethereal and beautiful Sarah! Wish I could have been there to see it! Love the way the crabapple looks so sculptural. And you had to walk to work, crunch, crunch!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics.
ReplyDeleteWe have quite a bit of snow here too - I did take pics before the boys went out there to throw it about and at each other!!
Hello Sarah
ReplyDeleteOoh it looks wonderful, just before Christmas too. Perfect to get us all in the Christmas mood.
Or snow has melted but we have been promised more at the weekend, youpi!
I hope you managed to get in to work OK this morning...
Enjoy the snow!
Warm wishes

A true winter wonderland...enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some very deep snow, we had a brief flurry, but that looks amazing!x
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! We had some of the fun, with an overexcited Cocker Spaniel instead, slipping and sliding our way to school only to find it hadn't opened properly due to teachers not getting in! That's snow in the south of France for you... But yours is a whole lot prettier.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, the low light makes them even more dramatic I think. We have some very thick snow here in London and it's still coming down. Hoorah for the Ugg boots!
ReplyDeleteOh 'wow' how lucky are you?
ReplyDeleteWe are still waiting for ours, but fingers crossed it will be us waking up to it tomorrow.
Happy snowman building!

ReplyDeleteIt all came down here in the East yesterday and is still very white. Your garden pictures make it look wonderful. That's how I prefer snow, looking at a picture of it, but I have to pretend a bit more enthusiasm for two excited girls.

It's just gorgeous, I love freshly fallen snow, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYOU'RE CRAZY...BUT I DO LOVE THESE PICTURES. WISH WE COULD GET SOME SNOW!!!:D
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! Looks so peaceful. We had a "little" snow this time last year, but today it was 62 degrees, so no snow for us. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, you know I just had to write back and tell you I found an old post of yours that showed your beautiful garden in the Summer. I love your little green house, and your garden is so green and lovely! It was fun to see the contrast from winter to summer. Stay warm. :)
ReplyDeleteMy darling I wish you and yours all the joy, love, hope, blessings, peace, laughter, miracles, good health and boundless wealth during this holiday season and always.
ReplyDeleteLove & Hugs
